Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 5 September 2026
These terms apply whenever you book a pension advice clinic through pension.my. By booking a clinic, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.
Who we are
My Pension is a marketing and booking platform, it is not itself authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority. Our lead adviser is Pete Watson (FCA reference PXW00440), who is also connected to My Pension. Clinics may also be delivered by other FCA authorised advisers we work with, their own registration details will be made available to you before your clinic. You can check any adviser's status on the FCA register at register.fca.org.uk.
What's included
A clinic is a one-off, 60-minute appointment with an FCA regulated financial adviser, priced at £100, covering the topics described on our home page, such as pension health checks, consolidation, drawdown, tax-free cash, contributions and annuities. It's a single clinic with no ongoing commitment and no obligation to purchase any further product or service.
Nature of the guidance given
A clinic is intended to help you understand your options and think through what to do next. Depending on what's discussed, this may amount to regulated financial advice or general guidance; your adviser will make clear which applies during your clinic. Nothing said in a clinic should be treated as a personal recommendation unless your adviser confirms it as such.
Booking and payment
- Clinics are booked through our online scheduling tool and paid for in advance.
- You'll receive a confirmation with the date, time and joining details for your clinic.
- Please arrive on time, late arrival may reduce the length of guidance you receive within the booked slot.
Cancellations and rescheduling
- You can reschedule or cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your clinic.
- Cancellations made after that point, or missed clinics, may not be refunded.
- If we need to cancel or reschedule a clinic, we'll offer you an alternative time or a full refund.
Your responsibilities
The guidance you receive is only as good as the information you provide. Please give your adviser accurate and complete details about your circumstances, and let us know in advance if there's specific documentation, such as pension statements, that would help the clinic.
Liability
We take reasonable care in arranging your clinic and in the regulated status of the advisers we work with. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for matters that cannot be limited by law, such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Complaints
If something about your clinic hasn't met your expectations, please tell us first at team@pension.my so we can look into it. If your complaint concerns regulated advice given and you're not satisfied with our response, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (financial-ombudsman.org.uk).
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
